* Thì hiện tại đơn
S + V1/(s/es) S + am / is / are …

(Wh-) + do / does + S + Vo…? (Wh-) + am / is / are + S …?
Thêm –es khi động từ tận cùng là: o, s, ch, sh =>goes, kisses, washes, watches,fixes…
– Dùng để chỉ những hành vi thói quen, mang đặc thù lặp đi lặp lại .
Ex : She usually gets up at 6 a. m .
– Dùng để chỉ những sự kiện và thực sự hiển nhiên, chân lý .
Ex : Water freezes at 0 degree celcius, and boils at 100 degree celcius .
– Dấu hiệu nhận biết: every____ (every day, every week, every night,…..) often, sometimes, usually, always, never, frequently (thường) ,normally (thông thường), twice a week (2 lần 1 tuần), once a week (1 lần 1 tuần)….
* Cách nói giờ:
a. Giờ đúng: It’s + giờ + o’clock.
Ex : 6 : 00 – It’s six o’clock .
10 : 00 – It’s ten o’clock .
b. Giờ hơn: It’s + giờ + phút hoặc It’s + phút + past + giờ
Ex : 9 : 10 – It’s nine ten / It’s ten past nine .
12 : 20 – It’s twelve twenty / It’s twenty past twelve .
Có thể dùng “a quarter” thay cho 15 phút và “half” thay cho 30 phút
Ex: 8:30: It’s half past eight = It’s thirty past eight = It’s eight thirty.
1 : 15 : It’s a quarter past one = It’s fifteen past one = It’s one fifteen .
c. Giờ kém: It’s + giờ + phút / It’s + phút + to + giờ
Ex: 3:50: It’s ten to four = It’s three fifty
9:45: It’s a quarter to ten = It’s fifteen to ten = It’s nine forty-five.

– Câu nói và phần đuôi luôn ở dạng đối nhau

– Chủ từ của câu nói là đại từ, ta lặp lại đại từ này
Ex: She is a doctor, isn’t she?
– Chủ từ là danh từ, ta dùng đại từ tương ứng thay thế sửa chữa

– Đại từ this / that được thay bằng “ it ” ; these / those được thay bằng “ they ”

1/ Listening: khoảng 25 phút, gồm 5 phần / 25 câu hỏi
– Phần 1 : Nghe cẩn trọng, bảo vệ vẽ đường nối từ tên đến nhân vật thẳng và rõ .
– Phần 2 : + Quan sát cẩn trọng thông tin còn thiếu trước khi nghe để biết mình cần điền gì, ví dụ thời hạn, tên, số nhà ,
+ Nghe kỹ đánh vần chữ cái và đọc số (viết số chứ không viết chữ)

+ Nếu có 2 tranh nhìn khá giống nhau thì cố gắng nỗ lực tìm điểm khác nhau giữa chúng
+ Bảo đảm viết vần âm trong câu vấn đáp rõ ràng

2/ Reading and Writing: khoảng 40 phút / 50 câu hỏi
– Phần 1 : + Nhìn qua 15 từ vựng và nghĩ đến nghĩa của nó
+ Từ nào điền rồi thì gạch ngang, bảo vệ viết đúng từ vựng được cho vào khoảng chừng trống, không được sai chính tả
– Phần 2 : Tả 3 hoặc 5 tranh, một quy trình tiến độ …
– Phần 3 : Đọc câu bên trên khoảng chừng trắng, chọn câu điền vào khoảng chừng trắng và bảo vệ là câu điền vào phải hợp ý nghĩa với câu liền kề bên dưới. Làm xong đọc lại hội thoại xem có ý nghĩa và hài hòa và hợp lý không .
– Phần 4 : + Đọc hết cả câu truyện và nỗ lực hiểu nó trước khi quyết định hành động điền từ. Chú ý viết đúng chính tả từ cần điền
+ Đối với câu 6 ( tìm tựa bài ) cần tìm nguyên do để loại 2 đáp án không tương thích
– Phần 5 : + Đọc kỹ bài văn để hiểu nó
+ Xem ngay khoảng chừng trống cần từ mang nghĩa gì, có ngữ pháp là gì, rồi chọn đáp án tương thích nhất .
– Phần 7 : Nhìn từ trước và sau khoảng chừng trắng, hiểu ý nghĩa của câu và tâm lý đến từ cần điền. Chú ý đến yếu tố ngữ pháp và cần viết đúng chính tả .
3/ Speaking: từ 7 – 9 phút / 4 phần
– Phần 1 : + Nghe cẩn trọng câu giám khảo nói và tìm ra chổ giám khảo đang đề cập trên tranh .
+ Bắt đầu câu trả lời với những từ mà giám khảo đã dùng. Ví dụ: Giám khảo: “In my picture, there’s a woman in front of the fire station.” Thì nói: “In my picture, there’s a man in front of the fire station.”
